VANESSA JONES: I primarily focus on divorce, child custody, child support and spousal support. I initially clerked for four judges in the Henrico Circuit Court immediately following law school and then I began practicing law here at Barnes and Diehl in August of 2002.
My top priority is providing excellent service and accessibility to my clients. I am empathetic and compassionate about my clients. Feeling their pain allows me to represent them to the best of my ability.
The most rewarding part of my job is to know that I have helped someone in a difficult period in their life. It is important for me for my clients to feel as though they're part of a team. I normally like to make certain that they are aware of the status of their case and know what is going on at all times.
What motivates me is to know that I have made a difference in someone's life. I have seen children's lives improve by the outcome of a custody case. I'm very passionate about representing my clients. It is important for me to know that I have helped someone feel better about their situation.
