M. ALICIA FINLEY: I focus in the area of family law, which encompasses everything that relates to the family, divorce, custody, visitation, support, distribution of property, assets, debts and anything else that relates to the family.
The most rewarding part of what I do is settling a case so that the parties, especially parties with children are able to walk away and raise their children together with as little animosity as possible. I'm most passionate about custody cases because I think the children are the most important part of any divorce.
I'm very accessible to my clients. I get back to my clients very promptly, either by email or phone, at least within 48 hours. When their case is over, I want my client to feel and be financially secure; know that their children are well taken care of and that they can move forward in their life.
