LESLIE ANN SHANER: In my family law practice, my focus is on working with clients to establish attainable goals and then zealously representing them in the attainment of those goals.
In my elder law and estate planning practice, my focus is on bringing peace of mind to clients in their financial planning for the future.
In family law, I practice all types of family law. However, I do have a special interest in couples who are middle aged and older. I am the author of a book, "Divorce in the Golden Years", which focuses solely on issues related to clients in this age group.
In divorce cases, there is no one size fits all approach for clients. In some cases you have to use trial advocacy skills and in other cases you have to use negotiation skills.
The most rewarding part of my job is helping clients find solutions to their problems.
