IRENE DELCAMP: I focus primarily on family law. I work on cases that deal with custody, visitation, child support, spousal support and also divorce cases that deal with all four of those.

I have been practicing law since October of 2005. I have been recognized in the area of family law by my peers by being selected as one of the rising stars for Virginia Super Lawyers for 2009. And also, I'm the young lawyer representative for the Virginia Bar Association.

Prior to coming to Barnes and Diehl, I worked as a prosecutor for Henrico County and I worked primarily in the juvenile domestic relations court. I find that my experience there is a great benefit to my family law clients. I have always been involved in family-related issues in my practice of law, whether in a criminal or civil setting.

What motives me is the ability to positively affect someone in an area of their life that they hold most dear, their family. My top priority when it comes to helping my clients to be dedicated yet practical and above all accessible.
