CHRISTOPHER MACTURK: I practice in the area of family law to include divorce, custody and property division. I represent people who are in need of advice and information on how to best handle their divorce or other family law case.
I have been practicing family law exclusively since October of 2000. My first experience with family law was through mediation when I was training to become a certified mediator. I have since expanded that role to include litigation and collaborative law.
I approach every case by gathering as much information I can. I also answer all the questions that my clients bring to me. I prepare the case in a way that if we do need to go to court we are prepared to do so, however, I'd like to try every opportunity to resolve the case before going to court if at all possible.
My top priority is communication. I communicate with my clients effectively and often. What motivates me in this area of law is helping people, helping families and doing all I can to help them in their legal situation.
