ANN BRAKKE CAMPFIELD: My practice is 100% family law. I represent both men and women. Most of my clients are people who have been married for some time and are coming to the end of a long marriage. I primarily represent people who have complex property division issues.

My top priority is always communication with the client. It's important to listen to them, to understand their goals and what they want. I am personally involved in all of my cases. I handle the case from beginning to end.

The most exciting development in family law that I've seen in a long time is collaborative practice. In collaborative practice, couples can be creative and come up with a resolution that meets their own individual goals.
